Kinnecting with peace

We’ve uploaded a new resource – Kinnecting with peace is a brand new set of prayer stations we’ve created and trialled at our centre this week… we hope you’ll find them as helpful and thought-provoking as we have. You can download them here.

In the lead up to Rememberance Sunday, our peace focus has added poignancy when considered alongside the headlines we’ve seen this week.

World powers are meeting in Geneva to discuss peace talks on Syria and today the US Secretary of State – John Kerry – announced his desire to inject more momentum into the peace talks happening between Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

We were moved by his words – ‘I come here without any illusions about the difficulties, but I come here determined to work.’

Because they resonate with the heart we try to hold and express here.

We too are committed to persevering.

In holding on to hope and in the work of prayer, awareness raising and action until we see peace even in the most seemingly impossible of places.

Because we worship the Prince of Peace and in him there is always hope for every nation.
