We’ve uploaded a new piece of sheet music to our songs page thanks to the kindness of our volunteer scorer… ‘Unfailing Love’ is a congregational worship song about loving the least which celebrates God’s extraordinary grace and challenges us to express it.
Some of our favourite lines from this song say, ‘Unfailing love, your grace is never done – reaching out to the broken and the breaker’…
These words help us voice our desire to have both the faith and the humility to pray for transformation in the hearts and actions of oppressors, as well as those who are powerless and/or exploited.
This week, when we again used our written prayer for oppressors to silently prepare our hearts before praying for the powerful in Syria and the nations involved in discussing intervention, they have gained an added poignancy.
