new resource for remembering Christ with us

This Christmas, we will have so many church services; see countless images of Jesus and the precepts his kingdom stands for ; and hear words of truth sung even in supermarket aisles. Why then is it so hard to actually make space to remember, and connect with, the God who is with us, and the world that he loved enough to lay everything down for?

Finding Christ in Christmas

At the risk of adding another distraction to the mix, the Sanctuary has prepared a print-out sheet, Be near us Lord Jesus  – creative ideas for finding Christ in Christmas which you can download from our seasonal page.

In it, we’ve put together some simple ideas, prayers, and  playlists, that you and your family might like to print off, and have to hand to use during the Christmas period – either to return to in a quiet moment to help you re-focus on what you are really celebrating – or to intentionally incorporate into your time together as a way of bringing depth and perspective to your dinner, present-opening or relaxation together.

Our prayers are with you this Christ-with-us – may God draw very close to you all.
